11.00–12.30
Session 1 „Vision Zero and two Slow Killers“

According to Vision Zero, you have to have the courage to go after zero accidents. Of course, one can question whether this is a realistic idea or just wishful thinking. In any case, culture is the key to safety and security.
But how can I influence this culture in order to come closer to the goal of Vision Zero?

This seminar looks at Vision Zero in terms of two slow killers.

Workers are exposed to thousands of chemicals. According to the latest research, an extremely high number of persons suffer from this exposure. Since the chemicals exert their effect quite some time after exposure, the prevention is all the more difficult. This is also the case with the lack of physical activity in the context of the work: it has great effects, but they are only apparent after many years.

Prevention therefore requires a cultural change. That is a complex process.

The seminar helps you identify obstacles, overcome them and recognize success factors.
It offers you a great opportunity for peer-to-peer exchanges, for example on best practices, future developments and access to resources for daily work. And of course top-class experts!
